The Habitat HomeStore is a donation-based retail outlet. Net proceeds support programs of our affiliate so that we can build more homes in Whatcom County! Anyone can donate items, and anyone can shop in the store!

We are always accepting items for donation!
* All donations must be clean, in good working condition, and free of damage *
Items accepted for donation:
· Appliances, especially refrigerators!
· Cabinets and countertops
· Doors, interior and exterior
· Electrical
· Flooring, all kinds, in new or like-new condition
· Furniture, in good condition only- no rips, tears, broken parts or animal smells
· Hardware
· Insulation, new only
· Plumbing, faucets- complete sets only- sinks, bathtubs, showers, and commodes without chips or rust
· Pipes and pipe fittings
· Lumber, minimum four foot sections or half sheets
· Trim and molding, minimum four foot sections
· Lighting, in good working condition
· Mirrors, framed only
· Roofing materials/gutters
· Sheetrock, full sheets only
· Shutters
· Storm windows and doors, complete sets
· Thermostats and fans
· Tools, hand-held and power
· Vents
· Wallpaper, full rolls
· Windows, minimum double-pane
Some current, specific needs:
· A locking glass display case
· A fabric/upholstery cleaner
· Recycling bins, such as the blue type or green garbage can type with wheels (something we can load into the truck without a forklift or pallet jack) / Large industrial-size plastic containers
· A 6-foot or larger ladder
