New Volunteer Orientation
New Volunteer Orientations take place weekly, and are required for all new volunteers to complete prior to signing up for a volunteer opportunity! At the orientation you will learn general information about our organization, about the family selection process, and about the policies and procedures for construction work parties, working at the HomeStore, for helping out in the office, and for committee membership.
The orientations will take place in Ferndale:
- The 1st Tuesday of every month at 9:00 a.m.
- The 2nd Wednesday of every month at 12:00 noon
- The 3rd Monday of every month at 6:00 p.m.
- The 4th Thursday of every month at 3:00 p.m.
The next orientation will be on Thursday, August 26th at 3:00 p.m. The orientation is expected to last about an hour. If you know of any friends who are interested in volunteering with Habitat, encourage them to sign up for the orientation!
